Client Diversity, Does it matter?

One question that I tend to ask myself more and more these days is, should I specialise?
Is a niche speciality more appealing in this ever more crowded creative marketplace, or is it better to cover a broader range of skills.

Fortunately, I've been in this game for a while, and shot everything from Andrex puppies to Sports Cars, but purely through client driven circumstance I find that I've picked up more than my fair share of experience with high speed shooting, both moving and stills, especially liquids (Ok, I admit my propensity to consume craft Ale & Cider could be clouding my judgement), but I do seem to find myself throwing stuff into fish tanks and generally making the studio floor very wet more often these days.

So come on creative folk, what are your thoughts?
Until next time
Matt
